Chef Joe Di Stefano hand rolls his gnocchi just as his mother did. She lived on the Sicilian Island of Lipari, and Joe channels her when he cooks the dishes he learned from her. He is particular about his produce, and sources his basil from a local grower, and finishes his dishes with fragrant Kewstone Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Kaarimba.

This mid-city café serves beautifully seasoned smashed avo on Higgins Bakery sourdough with Goodlookin' Googees at breakfast and Italian dishes like lamb ragu gnocchi at lunch alongside risotto, linguine and rigatoni at lunch. Friday night dinners are a big affair, with charcuterie, steak and swordfish also on the menu.

It’s a popular place to meet so be sure to book ahead to grab a table inside or out.
