The brewery taproom is the new corner hotel bringing people together for beer, wine, gin, food and lively conversation. The Shepparton Brewery ticks every box and is a meeting place for Shepp locals who want great-tasting beer and food.
It's a sprawling factory set up with high bare brick walls, stools at high dry bars and some semi-outdoor seating when the roller doors go up. There are old wash troughs for hand basins and a hearse complete with beer taps out front.
Take your pick from an ever-changing offer of house-made craft beers and a menu of beer-friendly snacks such as deep-fried eggplant chips with black garlic aioli, rich sticky pork ribs with crunchy onion rings, house slaw and crinkle cut chips, woodfired pizzas topped with local produce, and smoked meaty treats from Krueger's.
