Avonlea Flowers

David and Julie Weidenbach established the flower farm in 1989 growing stunning flowers in Murchison and selling them freshly cut from their farm shop.

The offer changes throughout the year with lilies from autumn to spring, wonderfully perfumed stocks in winter, and decorative kale and snapdragons. The bulbs and tubers, such as pastel-hued ranunculus come in spring, and then the peony roses.

The quality of the blooms here is outstanding, and they last so much longer than the imported stock. (More than 50% of retail flowers are imported in Australia.)

Avonlea grows more than 30 crops throughout the year and has over 10 hectares under cover in two locations.

The shop is open seven days, offering the unique opportunity to stock up at wholesale prices.
