Set among the weathered ironstone foothills of the Tallarook Ranges at Whiteheads Creek, Brave Goose Vineyard is a family-run winery where thoughtful winemaking, warm hospitality and a deep connection to the land come naturally. The vineyard’s story began in 1988, when the original vines were planted on the family property, Glendoxey.

Today, Brave Goose is led by winemaker Nina Stocker and grower John Day, who continue the family legacy with a hands-on approach focused on sustainability, quality and wines that speak of place. Together, they manage the home vineyard while crafting wines celebrated for balance, elegance and drinkability.

The range includes estate-grown favourites such as Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Viognier and Merlot, alongside playful releases under The Gosling label, including Prosecco and Pinot Gris. Whether you love a bold red, a textural white or something sparkling with friends, there is something here to discover.

Brave Goose also opens its doors for special cellar door events, markets, pop-up galleries, live music and seasonal gatherings that celebrate all things local, from art and food to wine and conversation. Relaxed, welcoming and full of character, it’s the kind of place where visitors quickly feel at home.

Located just over an hour from Melbourne and an easy regional escape, Brave Goose Vineyard is well worth the detour. Come for a tasting, stay for the view, and leave with a bottle or two of the good stuff.
